Free Video to Blackberry Converter is a multi-format converter. It was designed to make the task of converting files for playback on the many Blackberry devices an easier. It accomplishes that by letting the user choose from one of five conversion profiles.

The application's interface is quite simple. Converting a file is as easy as adding it to the interface by either dragging it into the user interface or using the "add" button, assigning it an output name if you want to, and choosing one of the 5 conversion profiles. These profiles contain conversion settings such as resolution, and audio and video bit rates. Under each profile, you will see a list of the Blackberry phones that will play files converted using that profile. Free Video to Blackberry Converter supports the most popular video formats as input files and it output files using the MPEG-4 and H.26 video codecs and the AAC audio codec, with different quality settings. The maximum resolution you can accomplish using this converter is 360x480, which is ideal for Blackberrys but small for the PC.

In my testing, I converted an MKV high-definition file into an H.264 file with no problems whatsoever. The process was fast enough and the converted file played well.
